It was so interesting to see these trees precariously perched on the sides of cliffs when we visited Bryce Canyon National Park last summer.
I am left to wonder how these trees ended up on the edges of cliffs. Could erosion have played a part? What do you think?
Thanks for stopping by!

I love your photos. I visited Bryce and Zion National Parks many years ago, and it was one of the best days of that trip to the USA.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Judy! You are very kind! We haven't visited Zion National Park. Perhaps we should add that as a destination some day. Bryce Canyon is so breathtakingly beautiful, isn't it?!
DeleteI spent a week in Bryce Canyon about 12 years or so ago - a glorious experience. I was there in mid-May, and had such a superb experience. Can't recommend it enough. Wish I had the courage to walk down into the canyon for more time... I was on my own and kept having small panic attacks along a few pathways!!
ReplyDeleteOh! You must have had so much fun there Celia! As far as walking down into the canyon, I didn't venture down those paths. I'm terribly afraid of heights, and with my bad knee, I just happily stayed at the lookout points and along the trails there above the Canyon. My family members I was with though, did venture a bit into the canyon along one trail.
DeleteThis view is stunning! Absolutely amazing!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much maryaustria!
DeleteHi Jana, they are gorgeous! I am not sure about the trees, erosion maybe. We'll have to ask a park ranger :) We were here in September, our second visit and loved it so much I hope there will be a third one day. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThank you Denise!!
