Beginning to Bloom

Agapanthus

I hope you enjoy this close-up view of an Agapanthus, or Lily of the Nile, as it begins to bloom. Notice the blossom with one of its petals beginning to open?

These lovely trumpet-shaped blossoms form a globe-like flower that sits on top of a long stem.

I took this photo in June of this year. We have several of these plants in our yard.

I posted a response comment on the macro lens - but wasn't sure if you'd get it. (I respond by email to most, but you were a "no reply")
The new lens is a raynox macroscopic conversion lens. Fun!
